M2 Machines Announces a Price Increase Effective October 1st

Castline (the company that manufactures M2 Machines) just announced a price increase on the 1/64 scale products (excluding the stretch limos and the boxed sets).

"Our initial year has been exciting and your enthusiasm toward our product makes us at Castline, that much more enthusiastic about continuing to give you the very best in our M2 Machines.

As many of you know, there have been mounting factors in the market place and manufacturing, that have created tremendous pressure regarding costing. The factors include, increase in labor, increases in all materials, increase in freight, increase in testing, and the value of the dollar vs. the rmb.

We are grateful that our product is viewed as one of the very best in quality and detail. We made the decision that we would never cut corners or do anything that would lesson our quality in any way. Our vision has been to continually focus on being the very best in die-cast vehicles at pricing as low as possible always.

We are doing everything possible to keep our prices down. Even so, we are forced to let you know that on October 1, 2008, we will have to increase our prices..."

Again, we want to point out that the increase will not effect the stretch limos and the boxed sets at this time (only the regular 1/64 scale products). It is always our goal at 3000toys.com to provide you with the best service including announcements about price increases before they occur. This allows you to take advantage of current pricing and snag those items you've had your eye on. M2 Machines are some of the very best 1/64 scale cars we've ever seen. If you've not tried them yet, we're sure you will be impressed!

New NZG Items from Germany!

NZG models from Germany just arrived on Friday. Included were three new items:

Komatsu released the PC2000-8 mining excavator, a 200 ton unit, to replace the PC1800-3 excavator. The PC2000-8 offers lower operating costs, increased fuel efficiency, and the highest levels of operator safety. NZG just released the model of this Komatsu PC2000-8 mining excavator backhoe, item #707, as a 1/50 scale collector's item, and we are sure it is going to be a must-have for many collectors.

NZG also has developed a vintage model that just hit our warehouse: the HAMM DL10 Historical 3-wheeled compactor, item #627-30. This item is 1/50 scale also and makes a great addition to any vintage farm toy collection!

Last but certainly not least is my personal favorite, the Terex TC225LC excavator in 1/50 scale, item #698.

I think this model itself looks powerful enough, but the real thing is even more impressive yet!

Here's some interesting facts about the real Terex TC225LC:

Operating Weight: 23.9 t
Engine Power: 116 KW (156 hp)
Engine: Deutz BF6M2012C, 6-cylinder liquid-cooled turbocharged diesel engine with charge-air intercooling, 2000 r.p.m.

Getting ready for Christmas!

I can feel Christmas coming already! Things here get more exciting as each week goes by, and I thought I'd take a moment to just let you know what was happening here.

First, we are ready to re-introduce Ros-Agritec, a European farm and construction line. We've had great success with Ros in the past and are happy to have added more than 20 new products, to arrive in the next couple of weeks. Here's just one example of the uniqueness that comes with Ros, a rock crusher that we have been asked for more than once (as always, click the images to see these on our site):

We have also begun to re-introduce the Corgi Aviation Archive. You may have already heard that a company called Hornby acquired Corgi some weeks ago, and many questions have been raised since in the collector market. We look forward to continuing a great relationship with Corgi and collectors, and hope to bring you the most-accurate information. We have updated our website with just the beginning of pre-order items, and anticipate more very soon.

Any day now, we will be receiving the next shipment of M2Machines, which I will tell you more about in the next week or two. This time, instead of keeping them in sealed cases, we will be opening them up and making sets. Hopefully this will make it easier for those of you that want very specific cars in the sets. More to come on that.....

There is so much more that I could tell you, but I think we will wait till next week. As always, feel free to shop our website; don't wait for me to tell you! Have a great weekend!
