Dysart Transportation, Inc began official operations in 1981 hauling freight on the east coast. Ed Dysart started a gas station and garage in the late 40’s which expanded over the years to a truck stop, restaurant, garage and wash bays.  In 1981 Dave and his son Ed founded Dysart’s Transportation as a common contract carrier serving the east coast area.


DCP's Level II detail offers much of the same detail at lower cost. Features include 5-stop positionable front wheels, detailed tractor interior, full working suspension, and die-cast trailer with opening trailer doors revealing a fully detailed trailer interior.

New from First Gear!

These two farm trucks were just announced by First Gear yesterday: A Ford F-650 Slideback Carrier with New Holland Parts and Service graphics, and a 1968 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup with Case graphics. Both are due to arrive at 3000toys.com in September. That's not too far away!




The New Holland Truck comes in 1/34 scale and features opening hood with authentic engine detail, realistically functioning bed slides and tilts for loading & unloading 1/32 scale tractors & implements, fully detailed cab interior, and opening body side toolboxes. Measures 10.5”L x 3”W x 3.5”W and weighs 1.4 lb.                                                                                                  

The Case truck is in 1/25 scale , and features authentic-era Case dealer graphics, opening hood with complete engine detail, opening doors with detailed cab interior, detailed chassis & undercarriage, opening rear tailgate, and features the revolutionary new grille design with famous Bowtie emblem. Measures 9.25”L x 4”W x 3.75”W and weighs 0.85 lb.

Exciting introductions from TWH Collectibles

TWH Collectibles has announced the release of the 1:50 scale diecast Seagrave Stock Unit Tractor-Drawn Aerial (TDA)-Ladder 2. Ladder 2 is the second TDA release in a program designed to mirror Seagrave’s stock unit production. The second edition stock unit features a Seagrave Marauder II cab and a unique black over red paint scheme.

Functions and features of each Ladder 2 model include a tilting cab that reveals a detailed engine and transmission, extendable 4-section diecast ladder with extending waterway, functional outriggers with removable pads, 180 degree tractor arc, photoetch steps, diamond plate decking and detailed Marauder II cab.

Ladder 2 is now available for pre-order now at 3000toys.com, and should be here late next week. Production run for this replica is very limited to 250 pieces.

Also recently announced: the Manitowoc 16000 Executive Edition 1:50 scale model. “The Executive Edition 16000 was developed in order to accommodate desk top display of an already exceptional museum-class model,” said Nicholas Neumann, Vice President of Sales and Marketing with TWH Collectibles. “At 34 inches in height, it is the perfect size for showcasing Manitowoc in any environment.

Functions and features of the Manitowoc 16000 include key-operated working boom, rotating carbody, functioning tracks, removable counterweights, photoetch catwalk and stairs, and swing guards with caution tape.

The Manitowoc 16000 Executive Edition includes a real machine product guide, tool kit and Manitowoc branded box. These will be arriving at 3000toys.com early next week.

A Closer Look

The Peugeot brand started in the 18th century and included kitchen appliances, metal fixtures, hydraulic equipment, automobiles, motorcycles, and bicycles. In 1927, the bicycle portion of the company separated from the rest and Peugeot Cycles was formed. The family saw the value of publicity in sponsoring racing cyclists. Paul Bourillon became the world sprint champion in Copenhagen in 1896 on a Peugeot bicycle. The family also backed riders in numerous road races and in 1905 sponsored their first Tour de France winner, Louis Trousselier. After the first Tour de France win, the Peugeot cycling team remained active in the Tour and other European cycle races. Peugeot would go on to become the most successful factory team of all time in the Tour de France, winning the race a record ten times.The J7 van served as a utility vehicle for professional cycling teams. For these teams, the service course was part office, part warehouse, part bike shop, and part garage. This model replicates the Peugeot J7 service course van in 1:43 scale. As you can see it features the famous Peugeot Lion trademark as well as the checkerboard design the cycling team wore for over 20 years. Also displayed are their sponsors; Esso (the international trade name for ExxonMobile) , Michelin, and Cycles Peugeot. The side door slides and the rear doors swing open to reveal the detailed interior including a workbench complete with toolbox and vise. It really does represent the excellence that Eligor exemplifies.

This week First Gear announced the introduction of the 1/50 scale Case IH Steiger 485 Wheeled Tractor into their growing agriculture line.And for their already popular construction line, they also introduced the 1/50 scale Case IH Steiger 485HD Dual-Wheel Tractor and 1/50 scale Miskin D-19 Scraper. The scraper is designed so that you can hook up to 3 of them to this tractor! These are available for pre-order at 3000toys.com, for Fall delivery.
