Cat pipelayers have been the standard of the worldwide pipelining industry for decades, with the 587T as the flagship of the line.

The actual CAT 587T Pipelayer is beast of a machine, weighing in at a whopping 117,000 pounds. The boom reaches over 30 feet into the air to lift up to an ever-greater 202,000 pounds! There's a whole list of the specifications here, which I found very interesting.
