This 1/50 scale Mercedes-Benz Arocs MP4 Big Space cab is riding on an SLT 8x4 tractor and hauling a Nooteboom 7-axle windmill trailer and a 4-axle dolly. Between the dolly and the trailer sit two hydraulically extendable lift-adapters, which are designed to clamp onto and securely hold the tower section of a windmill during transport. This eliminates the need for a transport floor, allowing maximum clearance and superior maneuverability.

New WSI Truckin' In This October/November

WSI has just announced several new 1/50 and 1/87 scale trucks that are expected to arrive this Fall.  

Each of these models is made of diecast construction with only a few plastic parts. Some of their other features include:

Built For the Long Haul: WSI DAF XF 105

The DAF XF 105 Space Cab Tractor is a top performer when it comes to high performance, comfort, and power.  It has one of the most spacious cabs in its class along with top comfort for the driver.

The XF 105 was built for the long haul and powered for profit.  It delivers excellent performance with up to 510 hp and a high torque of 2500 Nm.  It provides the ultimate pulling power and smooth ride.

WSI has just announced their release of the DAF XF 105 Space Cab Tractor along with a 6 axle Nooteboom Ballast Trailer in 1/50 scale.  It is expected to arrive in September/October.

This model is made mostly of diecast metal with only a few plastic parts.  It has some great features including the detailed interior that can be easily viewed through the clear windows.  It also has nicely modeled mirrors, lights, and detailed graphics...to name just a few.

As you can see, the Nooteboom Ballast Trailer is decked out with some of its own nice features. It has six steerable axles with mudflaps on each set of tires. The bumper has realistic tail lights and an authentic license plate.  The top of the trailer shows off the nicely replicated wood-grain design.
