New NZG Liebherr L580 Log Handler

Just Arrived...Liebherr L580 Log Handler made by NZG in 1/50 scale.  It is also known as the Timber Handling Wheel Loader.  Item #853 is made mostly of diecast metal with only a few plastic parts.  This log handler measures 9 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 4.5 inches tall.

The Liebherr L580 Log Handler has some great features including the detailed operator's cab with a realistic seat, controls, and steering wheel.  There are protective grilles on the operator's cab roof window and on the boom to protect the front windshield. 

Some other great features of this NZG model include:

• Nicely modeled metal handrails
• Realistic cab mirrors and lighting on the boom, cab, and tail-end
• Articulated steering and pivoting rear axle
• Grapple rotates 360 degrees and it also pivots forward and backwards
• Working boom hydraulics along with rubber-like hydraulic hoses
• Realistic tire tread and hub detailing
•  Authentic Liebherr graphics 

NZG has done a great job at replicating this log handler which was developed especially for operations in the timber handling sector.  With this design, logs can be taken to greater heights which works great for loading and unloading trucks.
