Check out the new images now available of Norscot's Caterpillar 308E2 CR SB Hydraulic Excavator and Caterpillar CG260-16 Gas Generator.

Let’s start with the Cat 308E2 CR SB Hydraulic Excavator, #55239, which is just finishing factory production and is expected to arrive in September / October. 

Even though the real 308E2 machine is considered a “mini” excavator, this model is anything but small. In fact, at 1:32 scale, it measures nearly 8 inches long and more than 3 inches high. The exterior and interior detail is exactly what you've come to expect from 1:50 scale replicas of larger Cat excavators. Complementing the visual detail are several great features including:

• Diecast construction with only a few plastic parts
• Detailed operator's compartment
• Moveable boom, stick, and bucket
• Moveable tracks and dozer blade
• Realistic hydraulic lines
• Authentic Caterpillar graphics
• Three work tools (bucket, auger, and hammer)

Then there’s the 1:25 scale Cat CG260-16 Gas Generator, #55287 – a beast of a model if ever there was one, at more than 14 inches in length. 

This model replicates a 16,586 cu. in. displacement 16 cylinder Cat engine, capable of operating on natural gas, biogas, and alternative fuels. Its matched generator can deliver up to 4000 kW of electrical power at 60 Hz or 4300 kW at 50Hz in generator or co-generation applications. 

Production is complete and they are expected to arrive in July / August.

Finally, watch for the 1:32 scale Cat TH407C Telehandler, #55278. It’s now in sample review and expected to arrive in September / October.
