Few things are as ubiquitous in this generation as Batman. What is often easy to forget is that Batman was not always a dark, brooding figure watching over Gotham from the shadows- there was a whole TV series in the 1960's featuring the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder fighting the often inept and zany villains of Gotham using memorable items like Shark Repellent Bat Spray, the Bat-Dummy (Life sized puppet to be manipulated through "cunning ventriloquism") and the Batzooka. In all fairness, not everything was quite that far-fetched. In fact some of it was downright classy.
