Late last year Caterpillar announced an update to their logo and trade dress. The new "Modern Hex" design pays tribute to the first CAT logo in the red hexagon while looking to the future with clean lines and a simplified look:

Additionally, as part of Diecast Masters' High Line Series, these models are packaged in collectible, full-color printed metal boxes, including machine photos and specifications. Die-cut foam inserts protect the models within the boxes. Cardboard outer boxes provide additional protection.
