This week Wiking announced a bunch of new replicas in 1/87 scale, 1/160 Scale, and even a 1/200 scale airplane! Cars, Trucks, Tractors, and more were announced, and we wanted to show you a few of our favorites!

It's Toy Fair time!

It's the time of year for the die-cast industry to announce all their new releases for 2010, and we have been busy! We are still adding new products to our website, but I did want to take a moment to show you a couple of special items.

 

The 1/72 Douglas A-1H Skyraider VA-176 , USS Intrepid was called the "Mig Killer." It comes with the following:

1) 3pcs fuel tanks

2) 2pcs 2,000 bombs

3) 6pcs Mk82 bombs

4) 4pcs LAU-3 rocket pods

5) 2pcs LAU-10 rocket pods

Professionally painted.
All markings pad applied for superb results.

We don't see a lot of commercial planes here, and I am always excited to see one. This is an American Airlines Lockheed L-188A Electra, N6129A. At a scale of 1/200, there is minimal use of plastic on this model to maintain the stability and integrity of the die-cast metal.  All markings are tampo (pad) applied, so no stickers to fade or peel! Other features include:

Free-spinning propellers.
Rolling wheels.
Landing gear can be removed or added.
Model comes with a display stand.
A brief history of the aircraft type and the airline is supplied with each model.


Now, we have a sad announcement today, as my fellow blogger, Marley, is leaving 3000toys.com. We wish her all the best in her endevours, and she will certainly be missed here.
