New Ertl Models

Coming this Fall/Winter... Several New

Ertl Models!

For the Older Collectors:

For those collectors who are 14 years and older, Ertl has just announced the replication of the New Holland T8.420 Prestige Tractor.

The T8.420 is the highest horsepower row crop tractor that New Holland produces.

Ertl has reproduced the T8.420 tractor, item #13839, in 1/32 scale with outstanding details including:

Front steering and realistic tire tread
Detailed interior and removable cab
Warning arms pivot up and down
Rear hitch attaches to most 1/32 implements and wagons
Sturdy diecast metal frame with front axle and front weights
Latest hood design with multiple vents and louvers

The New Holland T8.420 Prestige Tractor is expected to arrive this November/December.

For the Younger Collectors:

If you are looking for something for someone a little younger, how about these great Ertl models? They are recommended for collectors of 5 years of age and older.

First, we have the New Holland Peterbilt 367 Straight Truck with a New Holland T7030 Tractor.

ERTL - #13835 - 1/64 Scale -Nov / Dec Arrival

The straight truck's features include:

Chrome plated wheels and authentic tire tread
Realistic front bumper and grille
Nicely modeled air cleaners, exhaust stack, and visor
Rear hitch hooks up to other 1/64 implements

The diecast New Holland T7030 tractor features a nicely detailed cab, wide front axle, and single wheels.

You can haul the tractor on the truck flatbed trailer, or you can showcase them separately.

This Bale Mover with Round Hay Bales set is compatible with other Ertl 1/16 scale tractors.

This implement is easy to work. First, you need to press down on the button to open the pin. Next, you need to slide the bale fork frame and release the button to engage the pin into the hitch hole.

Now you are ready to move the bales from the field to the cattle feed lot.

Youth is Wasted on the Young

Universal has recently released several new models, and I wanted to tell you about them and I realized while thinking about this blog post that I am still 10. I was looking at these great models and thinking, "What do I want to say about them?". They made me think of the drought, and then heat, and I head indoors when it's hot. So then I was thinking how much fun you could have with these. I imagined this large sandbox (inside of course) and planting crops, watering them, and cultivating them, and 1/32 scale crops growing, and I suddenly realized, I am still a child. So, make the kid in you happy and check out these great models, and who knows, maybe you'll join me on my imaginary, miniature, indoor farm.
